About Me

Hey, glad you're here!
Hi there! I'm Grace Blanchard, a passionate computer animation major at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. Growing up on Long Island, I juggled tennis, pit orchestra, and countless AP classes, but art always remained my constant passion.
From my earliest memories, I've been captivated by the magic of storytelling. There's something profoundly moving about narratives that bring people together, make them feel truly seen, or provide a much-needed escape from reality. This fascination eventually led me to animation, a medium I believe possesses extraordinary power to inspire, comfort, and connect people in ways nothing else can.
My dream is to create work that resonates deeply with audiences, pieces that might inspire the same wonder and connection I've experienced through the animated stories that shaped me. When I'm not completely absorbed in my latest animation project (which, admittedly, is much of the time), you'll find me spending quality time with my family, hitting the slopes for some skiing, or outdoors with my friends for camping adventures in the summer.
